A physicist by training, Dr. Aziza has co-authored a number of articles related to her Ph.D. research work in theoretical nuclear physics. Her research focused on the phenomenology of isoscalar heavy baryons—very short-lived particles that can be detected in high-energy  experiments.  Click here to view some of her publications.

Dr. Aziza is also currently writing her memoir which she plans to release in 2009. In her memoir, she shares the roadblocks she has overcome to include loosing most of her sight as a child and enduring five brain operations. She is among a handful of blind persons in the world to have earned a Ph.D. in Physics, and the first blind on-air television correspondent on CNN and PBS.
